SOMEONE is trying to get away with making all the money on the takedown and not the cleanup...Gotta love people passing off the labor and hauling costs.

Just like the "free firewood"...come cut it up and it is yours LOL

the ad says they will cut it and load it for you.

My guess is they need the site clear before payment. Someone must have done the numbers and decided that they make more money not taking the time to haul it and just proceed to the next job.

Decent offer as yards in NY pay enough , compared to other areas ( south) paying $20 - $40 GT

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

Wyoming should have similar prices to South Dakota. We're at $30/Ton currently, but it'll be going down. It may make them more money to not haul it in.

The New Underwood site is actually out by Rapid City. I suspect all of these are on someone's farmland. I've ice fished Diamond Lake before. The East River sites are all 30-90 miles from the nearest scrap yard. I wonder if anyone will contact them...??? 2 1/2 weeks ago, the cheapest steel here was $40 a ton.

I stand corrected. There may be smaller yards located near some of this sites. I found this handy web site that iscrap puts out...
