gross story to make you smile today and take a hot shower

so it rained yesterday morning and I had been out all day picking up everything from frames to grills and dvds as its the begging of college move in time/apt swap. so I got a lot of rusty wet things even after sitting in the hot heat all day so did not think anything of it picking up a futon frame and liquid pouring on me and my legs, hands and shoes.
its what I wear scrap clothes for is to get them dirty and toss them back into the wild lol.
guys come out of the house putting stuff to the curb in front of me and says another hot iowa summer huh? I said sure is I bet you will be glad to be done moving to sit in the cool air and he said oh no I wish were moving, the sewer line backed up into the whole basement and flooded the apartment down there.....I said ya that sucks hope it is fixed fast for ya and I still picked up the tiny grill and lamp he set out and left to take a long hot shower

    good thing for hot showers!!

I don't think I knew of a person in college who lived in a basement apartment that didn't have sewer back-up at least once during their rental...

I don't mind getting dirty, but when it comes to sewage contaminated stuff you need to take precautions. Wear gloves and look into getting the appropriate shots. Hepatitis is no joke.
