Networking with friends / Aluminium Foundry

    Hello folks,

Recently I was out with a friend just to catch-up, as we hadn't seen each other in a while.

We got to chatting about projects that are on the horizon.

When I spoke of the foundry/forge I am starting to build, I explained that I will be casting stuff using scrap aluminium.

I was saying how I scrap hard drives, sell some of the parts, and keep the shells for their aluminium.

My friend went on to say that his business (siding contractor) uses aluminium fascia on the job site, and they usually have 20 to 30 pounds of breakage a week.

We made a deal regarding the metal that will benefit both of us. :-)

It just goes to show guys, networking is the key.
Be proud of what you're doing and share your plans with friends. And love the life you live!
