I accidentally scrapped my personal computer.

    Long story short-

Every few days I create a pile of stuff for my father in law to breakdown and process. Most of it is stuff that I have picked up, electronics, vcrs, computers, stereo equipment, ect. He's out of work, so I make him a little extra money by letting him process it.

My wife HATES scrap stuff in the house. So if I leave anything around, she immediately picks it up and takes it to the garage. I happened to leave one of my personal computers in the backroom laying on the floor. Sure as hell, she grabbed it and took it out to the garage and set it in the pile that my father in law was scrapping.

I come home from work, and go to get on my computer. Computer is missing. Ask Wife. Wife says she took it to garage. Go to garage and ask father in law. It was on top of the scrap pile so it is now sitting in a million pieces in bins all over the garage.

The Bad: I scrapped my own computer, that I have used daily for a year.

The Good: I recovered the hard drive, and have an excuse to buy a brand new computer.

    Scrapper Life Fail.

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

My PCs come from the pile, too. At least the wife now owes you one.

I mistakenly left a friends PC on my workers bench one night. When I looked the next am, she had done her Tasmanian Devil thing and it was history! I told her "Good Job", grabbed the hard drive and a likely candidate from the pile and built him a better one. She was a good worker! I learned my lesson.

No, nO i got one better. One day me and my helper were pulling apart a old ford for my boss. I forgot the speedo cable. Well I yank the heavy cast iron transfer case and holding the bastard. Speedo cable is holding it on. I yell to the helper, cut it. He sat there with a dumb stare looking at the light cord and speedo cable. Yep, you guess it. He cut the trouble light cord LOL!!!

And yes Im guilty of cutting crap I didn't want too. My ex always had a thing against scrap. She always put crap in a big pile. Well one day I'm going through a rat nest of wire snipping ends and trying to save what I could. Well by the end I cut my xbox 360 cord, my laptop charger cord, and some other cords I was saving. Apparently she through everything into a pile and threw it in the box.... I could have strangled her.

Hey olddude did Mario send ya laptoip back? Hes pretty cool, Im sure he did,,,LOL!
