Things are looking up!

Spring has finally arrived...here anyway 77 degrees tomorrow then back to the upper 40s which is perfect working weather for me. The geese are flying north, had three of my normal clients call this week looking to get cleaned up next week, copper is up a touch, got my trailer loaded with aluminum that I've broke down this winter, the roads are clear and free of ice, that one thread went away, and I could think of 100 more positive things!!!

Let's get out of these winter doldrums and think positive!!!

Who's with me on this?

Spring has always been my favorite TIME of year. I find that I'm VERY excited and motivated to get out in the yard this year as I opened a portal in TIME when I started clearing pathways into areas of the yard that I hadn't been in for years. I suppose it's a bit like xmas for me in a way as it creates so many avenues for adventure and treasure hunting.

I'm on my way outside after I post this as I'm burning daylight,lol

Better grab me a cold beer to cool me down a bit.

I don't allow picture taking of my yard except on rare occasion. I would like to figure out how to use the camera I have so that I can take pictures of larger items that I want rid of and bring with me as I look for those interested in doing biz with me. I will not do business with just anyone. There has to be a reasonable relationship depending on what is inviolved.

Many seem busy chasing dreams that they "might" live later as they try and keep up with the rat race of normal society.

I left the rat race behind long ago as I prefer a much slower pace where I have plenty of room for doing my own thinking and making plans that have a very good chance of success and suit me well enough.

Later in the year I would think that I will have the camera figured out and take a few pics of eye candy and such for sharing.

Thought I would add that once I know a person well enough that I have never met face to face. When they know where I Live they can look at the high resolution satellite images of my property. The ones from the proper seasons of the year are quiet interesting to see.

The eye in the sky is watching "over" us,lol...

I am with you just cleared up some space , goodwill will be seing a lot of me in the coming weeks , I always get excited when I clear up some space , get that feeling of accomplishment and wonder what will fill its place next . Bring on the spring , multiple layers of socks were hurting my feet lol

It's raining but still a step in the right direction .

As I have stated, spring is my favorite TIME of the year.

I learned that I have to pace myself when I get excited at getting outside and doing my work/play in the yard or going on a adventure elsewhere when my path goes that way.

I have been inside for a bit of a break from being outside earlier. I had a few eBay auctions I was watching that ended in the last hour. I won one and was the under bidder on 2 others.

I haven't been finding as many items of interest on eBay as the months go by. But now and then I do find a curious curio or 2 that I would like for my personal collections.

I find that most times on the items I bid on I'm the winner or the under bidder. I like to bid in the last few seconds. Can be tricky with slow slow dial up.

So I have my won item paid for with a few clicks of the keyboard and I'm back outside until I tire of it. I'm in no rush as I like to enjoy the sights and scenery as I travel about.

Always look forward to the changing seasons. Right now spring is in the air and walleye fishing is in sight. Then comes summer and fly fishing for trout in the mountains. Fall brings hunting seasons, followed by winter ice fishing and hunting varmints.

To be honest, losing 25 pds. of insulation is the additional bonus of spring. Without all the clothes, I can finally move.

I spent a few day breaking down a Blazer and organizing my yard as the snow melted away...will be mowing grass in no time.

the snow has melted off the scrap in my trailer, the sun shines warmer now and the winter doldrums have lifted finally! I can actually work out in the garage a bit when I get home without freezing and the excitement has returned!

I actually broke down some scrap out at my bro's today. As a bonus, about 2 miles away from his place, someone had a ss grill sitting at the end of their drive way with "free" on it. Got to the bro's, fired up his powerstroke F250, and went back and got the thing. More things to break down, the grill was at least 50% non-magnetic ss, so it at least paid for my gas out there. This week, I'll finish dinking around putting up fur and will organize my side of the garage to show the wifey that I can scrap and keep it organized & clean. Maybe she'll stop rolling her eyes and wringing her hands about my activities (hope springs eternal!!).

Childhood Dream- This is what "my" satellite "sees". This is an area where a gent from my outdoor forum has a camp for a while during the winter. Everything that's red is actually green, bare ground or a lot of soil showing through shows up whitish or bright. Older clear-cuts and grassy fields show mostly gray to tan depending on how much regrowth is on it, ag fields if not bright show up as pink. Each of the pixels is about 100 feet across so depending on much of a 100x100 foot spot is filled with metal and what kind of trees are around, I may see lots of your scrap or not much at all. I'll leave it to Google Earth to find higher resolution stuff so people can count your junked vehicles. And I'm not special enough to have spook friends so you're safe from me at least...

You can zoom in and count the vehicles easy enough on my place. Just has to be a image without leaves on trees or snow on the ground.

I can tell when they were taken by the differences in vehicle placement and such.

It is amazing the information that is available if you can find it and access it.

I have been peeking around this place watching the bots and spiders and their play.

I prefer being a private person first and a superstar action hero second.

I only wear my glasses when I turn into a superstar action hero.

Most of the TIME I'm a mild mannered private person on stand by...or something like that in a nutshell.......

Things are looking up!
