I love curbco and with everyone leaving stuff now this load was mine even after I waited for the rain/ice to stop last night and its a good trash day for scrappers its just still there for me but the bonus kicker was I found 3 computers and a server nothing special in one spot but the kicker was almost 2.5lbs of memory I found in a tiny grill of all spots lol not even in the same area as the computers lol also about 100 of these aladin safe word key coded door things I was reading a bit about there older and half don't work but throwing up on ebay for them fishes to bit at and see if they sell

Those college kids must be living large in your burg... :))
prices may be low but this little bit is still worth $157.80 there was a smaller tub with those stainless/ext alu heatsinks so it would have been more but with not a lot of buyers around I have to settle for dirty alu for those and with so much going for so little right now these alone covered the cost of the last 4 pallets I bought

I love surprises. went to an auction yesterday and picked up a pallet of computers which on the outside look like just regular dell optiplexes and tore it down and there were a few older ones including these 486's Pentium and not show here lol but also a fun duel socket p3 and some nice cards to go with these as well

Don't forget the Buyer in Ohio does buy those if you want to fill up a box with other escrap. Not too bad of a price compared to my local yard at dirty alum price.Quote:

Nice pics, Travis! Rootin' for more. (((root root)))
that's true but my dirty alu price beats what I could get because of shipping
oh ya no this pic does not show the other bin there are some in the one that I sorted out but I get dirty alu @$0.45lb as for my rads I get full price at least here @ $1.15lb its not really a yard I go to for these the specialty scrap company that picks up from me has many grades for everything I call it dirty alu they grade it as 15% MIX at this price since its the highest price for dirty
Keep on keepin on, Travis. I'm trying to tap into ewaste in the worst way... bought a truck today. Time to get to it!
got a box of boards dropped off with these fun ones inside the mix a couple of gold ic's and nice boards and such which I tried looking them up and the best I could come up with was there out of a xray controller box says ion source display on the one and artwork numbers. its a sweet one with many of the plug and play ic display chips put it on ebay and got a watcher already so will see if it sells I only listed it for $25 since I don't know much about it but if not it will go into the collection. still trying to find the official name for the display chips lol

travis always has fun finding new & different boards!!
I do love tape drives and units even the smaller ones like the one these 8 cartridges came from cause they sell fast and parts sell high even these untested used sold for $20 plus shipping but I love auctions for these cause most pass them up so easily like this one I got for a whopping $1 most have a bad motor or control board so I save a lot of parts to fix others and sell fully loaded

picked up another pallet yesterday at the auction 65 computers total 11 laptops and found a few nice goodies in it some black fibers and p3's but these 3 goodies were a bonus that will at least pay for it maybe even double it the asus p3 black fiber combo I have not seen in a while.

so I always see stash cans and secret boxes and I got this cube in totally ruined inside for resale and as prices go for these on ebay shells I figured I had an idea for a box a made a crude taped version to try and sell but mostly going to give it to a friend as a funny gift for his room lol
