    this guy.

I texted this guy about a week ago asking what kind of money he wanted. He said come by and make an offer. I told him I recycle this kind of stuff and whatnot. But got not reply. I noticed the ad was still up and texted him again earlier today and told him I'd pay 5 a lb for the ram. He replied. "I can get the gold out for that myself. My friend told me that." I then told him its not as easy as YouTube makes it. And you and your friend are wrong and you could get hurt or worse. Its really annoying that people say that kind of stuff when I make an offer after telling them why I'm offering. They think your trying to get over on them. But oh well. He will find out.

Some people are born sheep. You have lead them every step. Unfortunately " that guy" is being led by an idiot. Wait a month or two, he'll call you back. Then drop your price. I call it my stupid fee.

I run into the same problem, especially with company IT guys. Scrap cars to! People don't realize you have hauling and labor!

    this guy.

while smart enough to learn to do gold recovery myself i also am smart enough to know i dont want to deal with the chemicals required and its expense to get them and other required supplies. its more effective with the volume i see to sell to someone like you offering a reasonable price.

a little material isnt enough to pay for the chemicals. you need bulk to break even or turn profit. thats what people dont understand. they think that stuff is loaded with oz's of gold but it isnt and there is very little in it. alot less than a gram / stick of memory and thats if you are good enough to get it all.

these people are idiots. in thier valuation of material as high as they have they prove it. let stupid wait. he will either poison himself removing himself that way from equation or realize how big an idiot he was and come begging you to take it. either way you win. just make sure you "adjust for additude" and inform him prices subject to change due to additude in future.

    this guy.

yep I don't mess with the chemicals especially with a wife and kids in the house even though I'm in the garage. I just pull gold pins and sell boards locally or on eBay depends on financial status at that point in time lol

Looking at the pic's I for the life of me, cannot figure out where this tons of scrap is. There's not hardly enough there to drive across town.

I thought the same thing. It irritates me when people use the word "tons" when they only have 200 pounds of scrap.

    1 ton=2000 pounds. It doesn't mean a lot.
    Yes I'm nit-picking.
