    It's still $2.74 here.

I never thought it would get this low, though.

Before long, I may be able to afford to drive my truck to work!

It was this cheap back in 08'. I was quite happy. Watched it drop for a week from 2.25 to I think it got as low as 1.75 while I was in SE Kansas.

When I left to head out there I was paying 3 an some change. Hit St.Louis an paid 2.50..within 2 weeks it was at price above.

It was a pleasure to go to the gas station..I always got change back when I got gas!

You know prices are high when 2.99 is a deal. Ha ha!

It's been below $3.00 here in Cal. for about a month now and it's been at least 5 years since a gallon was under $3. It's nice to smile when paying for gas and not feel like someone has just "raped, robbed, and plundered" you! No I don't like the lower scrap prices, but the lower fuel bill will more than offset that. Now if the prices at the grocery store would go back down.

This 12th Day of December- 2104- $1.99 GAS!

Sir....I'm on the other side of the sandbag in Boone NC. It's around $2.40 here. Rush was saying on talk radio that the Saudi's are dropping their price on oil because they're scared to death of tracking and oil drilling in the U.S. New reports have shown that we have far more oil and natural gas reserves than originally estimated. DRILL BABY DRILL!

ha! Yours is cheaper then the sandbar Scrappin. We're at..2.70 or so. Price you pay living in a tourist area. I just go across the bridge to the mainland an get it closer to 2.50. I'll take 2.70 all day every day over the 3.75 I was paying earlier in the year.

My only thoughts on diesel are...well none. I don't drive anything that requires it.

Far as fracking...yea I herd at one point with fracking an the other new advances they say we got a crap load of oil. Enough to make OPEC an the other big oil countries take notice. An Mech..you herd 61? Was that at the end of today? Could have sworn I read this morning it had hit 57 a barrel. Either way, better then the 80+ it has been for the last few years.

    Saw $0.959 per litre thismorning.
In Ontario Canada. I've got a 130L tank to fill its still expensive no matter what price. I will note 3.79L = 1gal. US. Still getting screwed even more when < $60 barrel.

And to think the politicians told us "drill, baby drill" wouldn't work...tells you how much politicians now about free markets.

My worrisome side starts to come into play here.. not wanting to play devils advocate.. but I DO worry that when OPEC made the move that they did.. that they know that this would be a short term loss for them.. Crude Drops, Americans are happy for cheap gas.. BUT US drillers go out of business because they can't sustain.. and somewhere down the road we end up paying $6 a gallon. I hope the frackers here in the US have a plan to ride out this attempt at flooding the market from the OPEC countries and we can keep jobs and cheap gas!

We are hovering around 1$/litre here. Never thought I would see that again. Helps compensate for the low shred prices.

    Have a nice weekend everybody!

Yes they are doing this to try to slow and or stop the us.They control the market and want to keep it that way.

I just dont get how they show some places need oil to be at over 100 per barrel for them to make money.

I mean they made money before the oil prices went up a few years ago so how can they not make any now?
