I once got 25 PC's in a Nissan Versa. It was a scary drive home.

yeah I took a whole tin shed home in the rice burner earlier this week. it doesn't count tho because I had to set the roof ontop of my car, which is cheating, so the stove story doesn't count.

It was a Ford; an old one that did not cost very much.

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

Fixed it. Now, I'm off to fix my Ford... again.

    -------------------------------------------------

As for using the Civic for small runs, I see nothing wrong with it. I'd probably get a small trailer, though. There was one made out of a Pop-Up camper that was at the local Restore for $60. I wish I got it, but my Chevrolet pickup bed trailer is much sturdier.

Either that, or a roof rack setup would work well. More space is always better.

Made me cringe a bit seeing that pix of you and the water heater. I guess if you have decent accident you probably go quick but I don't think there would be an open casket funeral You got a bigger pair than me!

i personally would not haul a water heater that way! its dangerous if something would happen or you get in a accident.
if your going to haul that big stuff like that you should look into buying a truck at least. just don't want to see something happen to you that could be prevented from happening.

I carried a 46 kg (100lbs) 3000 watt UPS inc batterys (15kg) 20 city blocks home in a sack on my back last Sunday....
Just because I saw it in a rubbish skip, then I went back for another load...
Got a homebrew kit inc condensor for spirits, trailer lights, tools and sundrys.

Today I carried 50kg sack 10 blocks... In it was 2 fridge compressors, microwave transformer etc, washing mc motor, 16 motherboards, various fridge Ali, wire and as many goldfinger boards from computers as I could fit in there..

Could be another competition in the 'Scrapper Olympics'.

That's how it was when I took my first load of computer carcasses into the yard. I had close to 20 in my Taurus and that's what they joked about, the clown Taurus. No seats out either.

the truck is for 1000 + pound hauls...the rice burner is for < 1000. otherwise the profit margin of peddling metal curbside drops significantly.
