So let me get this straight, you are going to take down her canopy witch would cost her 4-500.00 dollars for free and take the scrap for payment is that right?

yes, and possibly resell the mowers if they are in good condition. nothing an angle grinder can't handle.

You read my mind mikieinreco the gutters could be attached to something, doing these jobs always find obstacles and it's always harder than easier but let's get back to the tread, why do you think you were the first to call ,cause no one else would do this for nothing and you said you were hired, so what are you charging for this? You might be young and good luck to you but most Scrappers under value there time, and these type of people looking for some one to do something for nothing are always the ones that problems arise at, I am not saying do not do this job but you should at least cover your expenses, Some thing like $100.00- $150.00 would be a fair price for both of you especially if you have to pay a helper.

The very reason for liability insurance or bond. Wavers can easily be deemed worthless in court. Here in Florida it is a felony to act as a contractor. They have big signs at every entry port.
