    Scrapping my 89 Ford 4x4

    As you may remember, I'm not into stripping a vehicle but the chat in another thread leads me to wonder if I shouldn't do some basic removal on this vehicle. I've used this truck around the farm for 10 years but it now has a valve out, uses oil, no power, the tranny is hard to get into reverse (sign of oldage in a 5 spd manual) and I don't need it. It's a 460 V8. Would cost too much to fix. As an old friend, I hate to see it crushed so might be able to get myself convinced to at least remove the transfer case. I'll keep the tires/wheels as they'll fit on trailers and pickups. Here's the pic.....
