i love this industry ,cause there's no rules ,......he might only be able to 30 ,based on his knowledge of where to sell it ,....if your smarter ,do more snooping ,....you can silently prove the potential to make money is kinda limited by "what you know"

thanks jord0690 ,....although my buyer is better then the 30$ guys , and is pretty reasonable ....i'll keep that price list and do some math the next time i get a cat

Just send him a nice note with a price list of your own. He can reject it or start selling to you. Even if he's red-faced right now, he may think it over and start bringing you his business later. It couldn't hurt.

The guy may have been one of those who throws out lowball offers on everything, hoping to get lucky once in a while. Personally, I would get sick of 50 rejections for each occasional score, but that's just me.

It's also entirely possible that he's selling his cats to a low-paying recycling yard and really has no idea what they're worth. When I first started buying cats, one of my customers brought me in two Breadloaf GMs. He was shocked when I offered him $80 each for them. He had just come from selling some other stuff at the junkyard, and they had offered him $30 each. There's another place I know of that pays $10 each, whether it's a low-grade pre or a Large Exotic.
