you get stuff from the transfer station and they let you or you buy from them?? I thought about calling my transfer station to see if I can get their stuff. oh and I went on a 40 mile run this morning, picked up 5 TV's with cords, 3 metal x mas trees, and 4 boxes of x mas lights, now I hear xmas lights are great but I need to research what peeps here do with them or how they are processed.. also picked up my old 4x8 metal trailer I gave to a guy who moved away and left it on the property, im glad the owner let me take it back.. ill post pics in a few.
called my local transfer station they will not hold nothing so im out of luck on that one lol.
Found a 32" lcd tv last week, the volume was stuck all the way up on it so i took it appart and cleaned out the dust bunnies and backed off the screws on the control button panel, got a factory remote for it on ebay for $10. Didnt find anything on my run today, next run will be on monday will see how it goes.......
I got a working Keurig coffee maker that way. Sure makes good coffee! :-)
ALSO, keep an eye out between now and Super Bowl Sunday for TVs. Right after the first of the month especially. Many of these TVs work, people just wanted a bigger/better TV. Review those old threads on TVs!
