    What about this crazy idea?

There's an individual on CL offering over 10,000 beer bottles for free. I'm in Texas, right? No .05 or .10 per bottle for me. But if I rent a box truck for 4 days for $170, sleep in the truck, eat on less than $10 a day, and get 10-15 mpg I can get the bottles to MI for $500-$600. So I could net at least $400-$500 (minus a couple of dollars for some Preparation H for when I get back) for the low, low price of 2-4 days on the road. Hmmmmmmm.......

Would work up here. Can buy beer anywhere in north america and return it for the deposit. Buuuuut TX to MI would cost a hell of alot more than 4-500 bucks in fuel. No way a cube van would get 15 mpg. My pickup barely gets 7-10 on a good day.

Could ship em to me if you want
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

That crazy idea is called fraud. Since no deposits were paid on those bottles there is nothing to "return". So what you are proposing is a form of theft.

    What about this crazy idea?

Shoot, as if I needed more crazy ideas. But methinks shipping costs would exceed the value of the bottles. Never did freight before. Hmmmm again.....

Up here the yellow backed speed signs are suggested speeds lol for stuff like on orboff ramps or tight corners. Usually way lower than most people needs. Say a sign says 40 around a corner but the road limit is 80, you can do 80 around that corner all day long and wont get fined.

    10,000 bottles @ 7.4 oz per btl = 4625 pounds you can get $.03 to $.04 a pound for them here so $138.75 - $185.00

Not to mention that there is no Mich. deposit label on the bottles from Tx. They would laugh at you.

Iowa would be much closer anyway.

I thought those speed limit signs were lower limits - as in, you must be going at least 70. Leastways, that's the way everyone around here drives.

Iv never seen that. Up here theres no province printed on any beer bottles or cans. You can bring bottles from across the country, bottles with lables ripped off and cans that are crushed and they would still accept them. Lol

And I think quebec is the only province with a posted minimum speed. If thats what you mean. The MTO here just assumes you know the min limit lol
