    Go to Harbor Freight and get you a welder! Get your Dad to put you a 220 plug in that "shop" and get you some weldin gloves and go to weldin ; )
    I got a nice lil 220V welder there on sale for $80 (that's been a few years ago, but still it wasn't bad) Just get the max size rod it recommends (don't try to overload it, if you need a thicker weld either go slower or make two passes)
    By the time you've got the welding done that you already need, it'll have already paid for itself : D
