I found out today that Idaho power will pick up your refrigerators for free and pay you thirty dollars for them. I guess you have to be a customer of Idaho Power and the refrigerator has the be in a certain size limit. Here is a link for the information.

Sheeny, one of the problems with the program is that the unit needs to be plugged in and working when they show up. Most people here only replace their refrigerators when they die.

Around me they don't care. as long as the light comes on its "working". Its about the degree of working.
