    Blessed Day

Been a good one, collected enough pallets to finish a load,my buyer picks them up when i get 240. so get them gone, i hope early next week. dove the dumpster it was productive. some wire, some brass, some copper, and scored a metal table frame. The shop crew is doing some clean up. i always like to look thru those boxes, usually find something decent.

I think he means he is selling a load of empty pallets back to someone who will use them or re-sell them to manufacturers/warehouses

There is a place down the street from my yard that buys 40 x 48 pallets for $3. I don't look for them but if I come across one I snag it.

Is that for perfect pallets or just run of the mill pallets?

If there good pallets shop around, there's no reason you can't get atleast $5 for them.

Also, snag plastic pallets whenever you can. I got a place that just wants them gone so I get them for free and have another place that pays $12 to $15 per pallet.

The day just kept getting better,The shop crew save bad boards for me, brought me a tote bucket full.We have taken up all the fish nets, time for a rest, so i actually had time to work on some boards this evening. The wife just loves me spreading my tools, boards, buckets all in the living room floor.I call it good quality time, she has other names for it LOL.

I do some repair on them, they dont have to be perfect,Oh i have shoped around i used to get 2 bucks at the feed store, but it was kinda limited market,he only needed like 100 every couple months or so.Really theres not much of a market around here for used pallets, not much industry, lot of seed companies but they all seem to buy new ones, It may have something to do with where they ship to, I know the place i work must use new heat treated pallets because some items may ship out of the USA, some worry about tree disease i understand. I dont get that many plastic pallets, always a use for them. i keep a few for me and the rest of the fisherman in town, keep a few at the net yard.
