A nice pick up...

Ok, I'be been hitting one of my advertising outlets very hard and I get about a call or two a day.

Well, today I got my call today and was able to go right over. I was supposed to get 4 computers, a keyboard and a "bag full of cables".

I get over there, and he shows me the computers: 4 complete desktops. Perfect. Then, he says, will you be interested in these? He points to a table behind him and he has 5 small DVRs and 2 large DVRs, 5 cell phones, two LCD flat panel monitors and a couple of wireless routers. Sure I say (with a big smile.) Then he says do you take electronics like surround sound receivers? How about CBs? Why yes I do...A few DVD players later, I have a good load in my truck.

Oh, and then he says, look, I work for a real estate company and I am part of the clean up crew that cleans foreclosed houses, condos and apartments. I have at least this much stuff every week. Can I call you next week? Sure can!!! He says, "well...it looks like you have a new partner!"



I left happy with what I got and he was very happy to let the stuff go.

These were my first DVRs...I underpaid for them. I'll offer him more for them next time.
