Getting better things from flag downs!

so dad and I were on my first run today and we get to a street where I've been flagged down before. same street I got the snowblower and eye equipment from.

We were loading a large garden cart into my truck, had to remove some stuff first to fit it in and ended up riding home with it strapped in and my tailgate down - first for me.

anyways, as I'm behind the seat looking for a second strap I hear some hollering and the word ''cart.'' my head popped up thinking maybe the guy wanted his cart back!

look up to see my dad in the road with his hand to his ear saying ''what??'' it was the neighbor asking if we took the cart. dad says I cant hear him I holler ''yes!''

He then asks if we want a furnace. I asked him how big is it and he said as big as the cart we just loaded. holy cow. I say sure but let me go offload this load first and come right back he says ok.

get back and its not s big as the cart but its a Trane XR90 model furnace and he used it when they built the house to dry the basement. he said he has been trying to catch me for a couple months and ran after my truck last week but thought I thought he was a crazy person but I just never saw him!! LOLOL!!! and I was wearing my new glasses and mom didnt see him either!!

so, its gas and the gas has been disconnected to my dads garage and if I cant figure out how to get parts to convert it to propane maybe I can sell it on CL.

He just GAVE me this thing!!!!!!

Oh, and he loaded it into my truck with one of those hand fork lifts and I swear I was drooling the whole time :P. dad says you want to seel it and he says you got a thousand bucks? but no, it was in jest, he had to take it back to his work.

Usually just have to go to a supply house/ heating, cooling shop to get a new orfice for the propane. Should be a pipe fitting with a specific size hole for the propane, unless the Trane's are different from all the others out there.
