    Bulk Waste Pickup by Appointment

Here in my region of CT the garbage trucks won't take bulk waste unless you schedule a pickup and thus there isn't a whole lot to find on garbage day... Anyone else dealing with this? I'm super envious of all you guys getting all these great curb finds. I do spot things from time to time but not with any consistency. The town charges money for a pickup so if there was some way to get my name out there i'm sure people would prefer to get my free pickup service vs paying 20 dollars to the town for the same thing.

How about making up some flyers you can post up on bulletin boards, like they have in grocery stores and laundromats, the kind with the strip of tear-off phone numbers across the bottom. Might get you some business.

Why not make flyers and just put them on every door?

No pickups by the weekly trash truck here either Ive seen couches, book case etc etc, sit on the curb for days, sometimes weeks.

Here, only once a year, pre-arranged pickup, for ONE item only. Either a mattress or sofa or chair or etc etc. BUT up to five e-waste items

Set up a pick-up for five totally "cherry picked" monitors. Was told they have to be outside before 6am.on day of scheduled p/up. 9pm the previous evening, I planted them on the grass curb, by 9.30 pm they were gone !

Sure glad, that whoever picked 'em up, did not drop them back off outside my house, when they discovered that there was no value left inside them

Why dont you contact some company dealing with recycling of waste, so that you can dump all the waste at some point, and make use of recycling of waste services.
