I don't care about the weather. Others do; when its nasty outside people tend to put off dragging anything to the curb in snow rain etc.... I live by Chicago... I've had shorts on in the morning and had been shoveling my driveway that same night. I only hide from lightning.

Cold weather really slows me down but I will still pick up any metal thrown out before trash day. Don't actively look for it tho.
Now that weather is breaking, I'm tearing stuff down that has been stockpiled. As soon as I'm caught up a little then I'll start actively
    chasing contacts.

While I'm sick and the ground is snowy and icy I'm taking a month off. Sometimes I remember I need some exercise for scrapping fitness.

Sometimes the amount of stuff that is piled up just shuts me down. I can never catch up on the piles or the next trailer full that has to be processed. Right now I should be out Curb Shopping, Tuesday is usually our big night but instead I am watching T.V on the couch with the family.

Weather has not stopped my scraping yet, but the day will come with global warming on it's way. Do not curb co but plan ahead in preparation. Tear downs are in a shed for days the driveway is plugged shut. During sub zero temps a move is made to the shop with three walls and roof. When the dogs refuse to go outside, we have projects ready in the basement. When nothing is available to prepare, I spend time on SMF doing research or babbling. Guess I have nothing better to do.

I don't mind the cold so much but then again it doesn't usually get to cold here on occasion it gets into the teens. What keeps me in is a steady rain especially if its been raining most of the day. People don't like to get wet and dragging an appliance to the street is no fun in the rain. I figure there wouldn't be much of anything for the picking.
I'm going to recycle the world.

I skipped one week this month due to wind chill and icy roads, my truck was sliding all over the place. Nobody had put any trash out anyways.
