    Real or Luck

Most of what i have in Metal is finding . Some is dealing with and having costumer contacts ( I should really run a clean out ad already) I feel even going to a dumpster regular and having the ones in charge give a friendly wave is virtually a customer as they could say stop it now !!
But is it - Real or Luck - even yesterday I cashed in well enough at yard, and on my way home I spot a battery off the the road , I soft shoulder back up - & WOW 1 2 3 4 Bat's - the one i saw - the other 3 are intertwined with green growth sticker bushes - a fast $38 , then back on the road . Dom Do Dom driving along - - I see a small muffler thing rusty in color - ah !! - Man !! - should I stop ?? - all right is the argument I have with my self , as i walk close..... I say how do you like that - A CAT & wow honey comb intact A fast , $40 - I think I will mount it on my wall for prosperity .

You make your own luck. There are those that put forth the effort and push themselves. There are those that have a victim mentality and put forth little effort.

As your anecdote shows, you kept your eyes open and you took advantage of opportunities others don't see. I have people bust my grapes all the time for stopping at the side of the road or constantly having " junk" in the back of my truck. In a twist of irony those are usually the same "victim mentality" people that I mentioned.

There are those that see a $5 bill on the side of the road. There are those that whine and want to borrow $5. I'd rather be the first kind.

You exactly right son!!. Not going to delve into ym personal life too much, but the girlfriend Im trying to get rid of is "victim mentality" as you call it. She has a college education in teaching with clearances. Never once in her life did she get a job teaching or in daycare. I hear all the time poor me, I need welfare and this and that. I just sit back, enjoy the ride, and dont pay attention. She never will have nothing and just sponges off of me since we have a 3 year old together. If aint me, its mom, etc. iM JUST Sitting in the corner snickering. I push myself HARD and luck is with me. I seem to do alright FINANCIALLY. So I think your right. Also karma is good when you treat people right, which is what I do. So I agree wholehearted! Now if someone wants a worthless mutt that wont even put out..let me know..lmao!!!
