I went against my rule with garage sales , That is to buy metal above spot cost . (spot not real for us anyway)
I purchased 20 lb of pure copper cook pots, at a vintage of 35 years . The seller would not take a penny less then $100
But for $100 I got her to toss in also a 3 lbs brass thing - 1/2 lb copper thing - and One printer .
Still back to the pots ,I was under the impression cooking in pure copper can poison be to humans . But chocolate and cooking sweets is OK . Since these are the full gamut from pots to frying pans & i see some items that look like could be for pouring hot chocolate. Do any of you know if cooking normal food is ok ?
In a pinch i figure these pots and pans are sure to be a hit on Ebay if I resell
