    metal prices

    what is the best way to obtain the going prices on all scrap metals?

    Call the place you will be taking them to is the only real way because their are too many variables that go into pricing. Even then some yards classify things differently. What someone might tell you is one kind of steel at .15/lb might be classfied as shred at .10/lb at your yard and so forth.

    Its like asking what kind of present to get your wife....well it depends on the occasion, type of wife, did you make her mad that morning, or is she allergic to chocolate?

    Many yards now post prices on their websites, although those prices are subject to change without notice
    Alvord iron and salvage
    3rd generation scrapper and dam proud of it

    This tab at the top of the page. Scrap Metal Prices,Recycling News,Scrap Buyers,Metal Recycling,Scrap Yard,Buy Offer,RG Steel Prices|Scrap Monster But as stated you need to call your local yard as prices do differ.

    I call my local yard once per week, because prices can change quickly and often.

    First an introduction would be nice and you would get a better responce. That's a question that's all most imposable to answer because each tard is diffrant and prices are allways changing. Like the post above, call your local yard is the best way.
