So, I had this gentlemen call me yesterday, and I unfortunately left my cell phone at home.

My wife never answers them, since she doesn't know what I will charge for stuff, or what I am totally willing to do or fully capable of doing.

So anyways, it was to late to return the phone call last night, so I decided to do it this morning. Well as luck would have it, I forgot about it, until I called one customer back, and noticed the number almost 24 hours old!

So, I called it back, and got the voicemail. Left a VM and hung up. As luck would have it, the guy calls me back, only when I happened to be on the line with another customer giving them a quote.

So, I called him right back, and voicemail again. Left another VM apologizing for the phone tag, etc.

He called back 5 minutes later, and SCORE! The guy is doing a big clean out of 40+ lb shelving units, and several appliances!

I told him that I am the cheapest around that I know of for metal removal. Gave him my price. Even told him that we have done several business clean outs in the past and what we generally do, is show up the day they start, and load it up as they are tearing it all down, in order to get it out for them ASAP and so they dont have piles of it everywhere.

The guy said he will be calling me back to finish out the details, as he was going into a meeting.

Sorry for the long post, but moral of the story is, call every number back that you miss. Never know when it might be a BIG score, or even a simply $50 job.
