Thumbs up Whale !!! This isn't my first whale but it is a nice one.

Ok, so, 6 weeks ago i got a full time job in a local machine shop. Part of my job was to clean out all of the "dead parts" , bent steel, and other forms of recyclable materials.

To Date. I have hauled in:

    (304) Stainless Steel @ $0.47 lb 1,355 pounds = $636.00

    Clean Aluminum Sheet @ $0.55 lb 964 pounds = $530.00

    Sheet Iron (SHRED) @ $0.11 lb 26,000 pounds = $2,860.00

    Electric Transformers @ $0.31 lb 986 pounds = $305.00

    Yellow Brass @ $1.62 lb 1090 pounds = $1,744.00

    Heavy Melt Steel @ $0.065 lb 30130 pounds = $1,958.00

For A Grand Total of $8,033.00 Not to bad for six weeks of part time scrapping. Like I said this isn't my first whale load, although it is one of my largest.

Just wanted to share this with some of the new scrappers, hopefully to inspire them.

See ya at the scrap yard scrappers !!!!!
