Hi everyone! Been away for a little bit... got a shipment off to a buyer and then I magically started scrapping actual metal as opposed to ewaste like I'm used to. Since my Dad's shop has been closing I've been super busy hauling tons (literally) of metal out of here. I've gotten better aquainted with my local yard - even got myself a nickname from the owner: he calls me "com wire girl" lol. Metal scrapping is a little more difficult physically than ewaste I will have to admit while the ewaste can be more of a mental challenge (like identifying components and things like that). I've discovered that I am the master at securing loads of random shaped metal in the truck that I am using. Which is good because I would be in major trouble if something flew out and hit another car. I've also started to get a little bit tan which is a big thing to me because it never happens to me. I usually burn crispy and go right back to white again. Anyhow just thought I'd share my new branch of scrapping experience.
