That looks nice, except you can't work outside. I do like looking out a window and see a snow covered yard though.

That's ok got a Diesel space heater that needs used. Running diesel I recovered from a transfer tank that was on the bed of a pickup I bought so its pretty cheap to run.

Finished pulling parts tonight, ready to load up and ship out

Saved front doors, fenders, Hood, 4 rims for parts for my wife's 05 stratus. Putting the alloys on come summer time and saving parts incase we hit a deer. Hot wired fuel pump and managed to pump 7 gallons of gas to boot. Kinda feel guilty about this drove it into the shop but it wasn't running too good tho. And yes I pulled the rad, cat, battery, and all the other usual goodies you would pull off the car.

Somewhere in between 5000- 7000, that's as much as I'm willing to give up. I would've figured it to weigh a lot more. But it does have a big old honking brass radiator, but I was unable to find the cat. Lol !

Scored this beauty for 150$, already got the tires sold to recoup initial investment. Plus all I had to do is put a battery in it and drove it home.

that you can't scrap , Heck use it as a trailer load it up . Autos of those years were so simple and strong . I think just as is it can be rented out as a movie prop for period movies . But as mascraps stated . I know for sure if i had that people would give me scrap just for the chance to see the old girl keep going .To bad many people would rather put down money for a ride with payments for the next 4 years . cause even if it cost $5000 to fix up it would last another 60 years what new car now will really last 60 years cause lets face it the computer and sencers start going then a motor trans = newer cars once they go they are done . You see it all the time at the yards 10 year old cars being scraped and they look better then my truck.
The scout I know a DR who has one He would buy that for above scrap Tater what you don't seem to realize is up north the salt and snow cars get old fast that scout would sell like mad here . no doubt and no way you gonna touch this area for less then $4000
heck ecen at 7000lbs $1000 and $50 for brass radiator you gave it away .
    ----------------------------
But yes it's clear your doing well as a scrapper hats off to you .

Too bad it's not worth any thing anywhere near where I live. I get what your saying, but it's just a crying shame. I hear this stuff a lot but no one seems to want to pull out their check book and pay more than scrap value so to the crusher it goes. Same thing with them iron spoke wheels on old grain drills, everyone tells me I'm giving them away for scrap but no one seems to be willing to pony any cash. By the way that red binder was a pickup not a scout.

honestly I can't say I want to see the old trucks go to the scrapyard but I also know what you are talking about. Around here people want a perfect project truck they can have running in 3 days lol

I don't either I'd rather sell a vehicle for more than scrap but if it don't make dollars then it doesn't make sense.

We live in the USA but we are worlds apart . The shipping would kill off the profits but one day the old trucks by you will run out , No road salt sure makes a difference - You know what i want that would be a 1968 or OLDER 1955 Chev panel truck 250 cid 3 speed manual .
