What about windows and trim and such Tater? That looks like a two piece split windshield, the rear window and some door glass looks decent too. That stuff could be impossible to find now. The pictures aren't loading this morning so I really can't specify other things I might have seen. Are you on the H.A.M.B. ? (jalopy journal)

Hamb ? Pictures don't show it but glass wasnt any good, the lamination was flaking out around the edges or believe me I would've saved the glass.

Hood, fenders, bumper, grill, trim and decklid. I would take all of that off as it can be used on 2 door models. If there are any interior parts that are good or can be re chromed I would save those too.

There wasn't a straight body part on that 52 Chevy, it had been sitting in a draw for 40 years so EVERYTHING was rusted out, believe me. Nobody is gona give you 10$ for a fender that's half gone because its rusted away. I try to sell as much as possible for more than scrap because it's more money, but it just wasn't there.

A better view of my tire stands, habit picked up from my junkyard days.

Even without any front tires and one flat tire, winching this mess on the trailer wasn't any problem
hit a home run on this one ! Cat and weight from leftovers, not to mention 15 gallons of gas, put me way into the black on this deal ! And got the motor/trany and taillights Sold last night ! What can I say some days it's just great to be a tater !

It just goes to prove scrapping and wrenching goes hand and hand. Weight of the above items ? Maybe 700, 800 pounds ? That's worth only 80$ if shred was worth 200/ton. So, getting well over 5 times worth that amount so worth it to drop a subframe to me.

They are here too, liberty. They fit many makes of gm cars from 1996 til they started using the 3.9 I don't know what year that was tho. Motor alone will go for 600 from junk yard, and I sold that one for a lil less than that.

What did you do with it?

Sweet truck. I like I like.

Someday I'll actually learn something about restoring cars besides driving them..lol. I'd love to clean me up a oldie like that, just to take out now an then an bebop about town in.
