Anyone know a buyer in 518 area code

I have several hundred old hard drives (too lazy to break down) several computer towers and other odds and ends. I live in the Saratoga region of upstate NY ....have tried calling local scrap yards I sell non-ferrous to but none of them are interested in E-waste.

There is at least 1 yard in Albany that buys. Prices are low for ewaste, but most yards are. I may be interested if you want to drive over to Pittsfield, or if you can wait till I'm in the Albany area.

Thank you for the reply. I'm in no rush -- was just wondering if there was a few bucks in getting rid of it all. Pittsfield is a bit out of my range, but if you are near this area I'd happily make it availablle to you at whatever you feel is fair. I will take an exact count of the number of old hard drives I have, towers, and old laptops and reply back again tomorrow. Then, you can judge if it's worth coming to get.

take the boards off the hard drives, send the rest as dirty aluminum

take boards off the other stuff, box them up, ship to ewasted

    celebrate like brojer
Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.

yes- if youre in no hurry, then take a bit of time & strip the boards off.
i would even strip the hard drives completely if i was not in a hurry- just devote 30-45 mins daily to strip as much as u can and im sure that in a weeks time u will be done.
