    Is This What I Think It Is?

    I'm pretty sure I've already figured it out but could someone confirm this is one of the fabled and treasured high gold content cpus?



    Found one last night it a not so promising looking tower. I'm sure glad SMF taught me to start pulling them!

    Sweet! Would that be just for this type? I'm just doing research as I only have 2 with the gold caps and the other is some kind of newer knock off. Looks something like this..

    A lot of those older CPUs are worth more than scrap value, so you'll want to check there. But, pretty much anything that old will have a high gold content compared to today's CPUs.

    Thanks. I saw one listed for 29.99 yesterday when I looked it up but I didn't see any actually selling for that.
