    Computer heat sinks..hidden copper

    This one hit me as I was training a new employ yesterday.

    There are some computer heat sinks that are copper but look like AL. You have to "scratch test" the bottom part of it to see if it shows white or copper.

    You can tell what one are copper or not..but the weight of them. You can feel that they are "bottom" heavy.



    I will take a photo of the ones I am talking about next time I am at the unit (an if I don't forget about taking the photo)

    Just thought I would let ya'll know that some of them have copper base on them that is coated in white metal (sometimes AL or nickel...mostly AL)
