AgO batteries have a marking in the 3** series 301-399 its on the battery hearing aide, watch, medical device, camera flash just for some ideas on where to look

I have a list of most manufactures and part numbers for these batteries.

I also will update my thread for prices on these too.

Any of the small flashlight, etc. style batteries drop off at your nearest VA facility, my local hospital has a recycling box there sponsored by Rayovac I think.

Has anyone checked any of these operations out? Just Googled it and this is what came up.

I just skimmed thru the old posts since this thread popped up. ScrapYaHerd, if your batteries are all dumped in a coffee can, there's a very good chance many of them are short circuited. All it takes is two batteries or a battery and the side of your coffee can to create a circuit. And the current plus dissimilar metals could be causing some interesting chemistry experiment to occur inside the can.

Only a matter of time until there's a large enough supply and when it becomes cheaper to refine it than mine it.

Going to drop off at Lowe's 4.5 lbs Ni Cd, 2.5 lbs Ni Mh, 1/2 lb lithium button, 1/2 lb Lithium pile batts. Got too much stuff I am saving for when prices get better or when there is a buyer. Did not want to add these in with the shred, as not alakine and should be recycled!
