I won my first e-waste auction too!

I have a feeling as it sold for 99c and it's been almost 5 hours since it ended he won't respond.
he had pc servers listed but none sold so i'm thinking he'll just forget about it and keep 'em.

I felt these wouldn't sell as the're old and don't have anything in 'em that you would want to use today
but I did put in a second bid of $20 incase but wasn't required.
so it'll be interesting to see if he comes good with this sale..

That would be a great buy for .99 cents. Wish they sold that in the dollar aisle

Would be a nice win if he goes through with it. May just need them gone. I noticed beside the CPU specs he has (coppermine). Is this a slang term for that cpu or does he think they are made or just copper?

That's what i'm gonna start telling people, I buy them because they are made of copper.

If he doesnt sell them to you for the price you wont, report him to ebay!

If he wanted more, he should have listed them for more.

or maybe i'll stick the $1 coin on a block of chocolate and give him that.

oh been meaning to ask, what do I tell him when he asks what i'm doing with them?
maybe he doesn't know about scrapping them, maybe can't be bothered but if I say i'm scrapping them
for gold recovery then he may not list anymore.

tell him your an escrap buyer and that you are looking to buy more, i wouldnt say anything more than that, i like giving info out but ive learned from exp where it is best to draw the line, atleast you can pay him fairly on the next go around and have him as a long term customer

I'd have a crisp $20 bill ready for him, even if I did win the auction for less then a buck. But hey, if he's willing to give away 20 comps for next to nothing, so be it.

after a couple false starts I got 'em today!
it's a largish software company and the're moving premises.
was a good experience as in the new year I plan to advertise ect so this is basically
what i'll be doing, going to offices and taking away e-waste.

I guess being in pc's they did understand there's some value in them, more so then your average business
that seem to be more then happy to just recycle them, if the transfer stations are anything to go buy,
businesses go out of their way to drop off pc's and stuff.

so anyway yeah I got 'em home all safe, got some bonuses too like a bunch of keyboards, some cables and a box of mouses and 6 hard drives..

have done half already before it got dark, most have the green fibre cpu's, a couple had these..

this one had 5 finger boards, I haven't had many with 5..

they seem stock standard but still, 5
