    As prices are down

    Check with your scrapyards to see if they pay different prices for steel items from the public. Several years ago a new scrap yard opened and paid for prepared, clean sheet iron, unprepared and sheet iron. before that all peddlers were paid for sheet iron no matter what you brought in.
