best thing where you can learn the types of processors out there is to spend some time in the Computer subsection of this board
http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/computer-recycling/ some time looking at the sticky threads and they will get you educated pretty quickly.
GENERALLY...there are 2 main "brands of cpus"...Intel and AMD, BUT there are some other things out there that are older. It is not only the brand, but the TYPE of processor that determines value (and that is based generally on how old the processor is...older ones tend to have more precious metals in them like gold). The larger one you have (the P3 Celeron) is much older (yours was produced in 2000, based on the 00 date marking in the pic) than the P4 (the other celerons) and the AMD Semprons / AMD 64...they have date codes you can see as well. You don't need to know date codes, just what version of processor you have....P4, P3, P2, slot, pentium, pentium pro, 486, K6 ect. THAT is how you sort your processors and get paid correctly for them.
Save them and READ some where you know what you have....most of what you have in the pics are $5-7/lb and the P3 I get about $10/lb.
