    Plasma Monitors

    So, I am getting (6) 42" and (6) 50" Plasma monitors.

I have no idea if they are functional or not.

Can you e-waste pro's give me some ideas on what I can do with them if they are functional as well as non-functional?

Update on this....they all had major burned in images from constant use. I took one apart to see what was going on inside....boards; some high, some low. Lots of gold fingered ribbon cables all around perimeter of screen. Screen has a massive Al heatsink. Glass is stuck to it with the sticky foam stuff, and is a major PITA to get down to metal.

Called a few TV repair shops and ended up selling them all for $30-$35 a unit, including the box of boards from the 42" I tore down. Was told I would have gotten a better price had they been consumer models rather than commercial. Oh well...I am pretty happy with the turnout considering my investment was about $15 in gasoline!
