Unfortunately I seen this thread too late and I realize it's already gone.....but, was this a cnc machine (I'm assuming by the dies)??? And, if so, did you at least pull the servo amps, power supply,...

Good to know. I've personally never used a starter for any other application, assuming it would burn up if ran longer than what it was designed for. I'll definitely be keeping this in mind. ;)
I like the idea and it's pretty MacGyver. ;) However, I don't know about using it for much longer than in the video as I'm sure that the starter will get hot after 10-15 seconds and eventually burn...
Hey hobo, what does a case of soda (don't know if that's the lingo in your parts ;)....or beer) cost in AZ? I'm just wondering if you and your western neighbors are paying more up front on the...
Love this!!!!!! Matter of fact, I'll be chewing a pack from now on.
Old thread, I know. Just figured I'd throw a thanks for the laugh I got from your quote scrapalot. ;) There was a time where I'd say that randomly throughout a day. Haha
There's really nothing that I can add to FLimits' replies. There is a lot of great advice in many of these posts, but I personally agree with FLimits. I'm one of those guys who happen to be in that...
Well Hollandscotts, how did this turn out? Just wondering. ;)
We've all had a bit of amusement from your inane threads and I have been guilty of playing along. Maybe I will catch some slack from more senior members here, but my amusement level has faded. I'm...
I third what old dude said!!!! I've pulled a boat without a plate and taken back roads...would never advise it on a forum, but I would definitely NOT put your truck plate on it. The "tag" I'm...
P.S. find out if it has a title, otherwise it could be difficult to retitle....and check on the rear of the boat for the I.d. #. And.....The real reason I'm responding again is to ask what you'll do...
Brother, if you get that for $100, I will be green with envy!!
2nd.....don't scrap it!!!! Especially if the motor comes with. Idk, maybe boat prices aren't the same down there, but up here people...
Gotcha! I couldn't see from the pic on my phone below the f150 emblem....and I had flashbacks. LOL.
Not that it isn't a good truck though. Every vehicle has it's issues and that's the one mine had....
I'm a part time scrapper, so I don't generally get involved in huge demos or industrial. However, I have loaded mine to the point where you would think the Beverly Hillbillies were coming to town. ...
I did a brief search and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the '04 still had issues with the spark plug removal. A quick call to the Ford dealer to get a quote on a spark plug change will tell...
Which motor? 5.4L v8 triton? I have a '00 F150 7700package longbed....in this same color (well, by same color I mean it once looked like that on a car lot before I obtained it, :p), and if it does...
I would definitely need a picture, but if I went with my imagination right now I'd say it's probably worth way more in resale than it is scrap value...to the right buyer.
My rule of thumb is,...
Personally, I have an F150 work truck 7700 package (so almost a 3/4 tow capacity). I bought it 4 yrs ago for 1k. It's been hit in the passenger side bed by the wheel (totaled and was paid $3500). ...
Sorry, didn't see this til this morning. I apologize for initially laughing, but thanks. I like starting off days with one. As others have stated, it's forum lingo for "original poster"....The one...
Originally, I was bent due to the 4 words that describe me and many other proud people...don't tread on me.
Then, the other side of me recalled a saying my mother drilled into my head long ago as...
There's a fair amount that I list from scrapping or picking up items for free. Whether it be from CL or elsewhere. Heck, my wife just picked up a epson picture printer a few weeks back for free...
I agree with pretty much everything src3collector said. An item's worth is only as much as someone is willing to pay. One thing to add to src3collector's post regarding Super NES games is that if I...
A couple things to add...Learn to distinguish whether your aluminum is cast, extruded (different alloys), sheet (siding painted/unpainted), because there is a price difference. Also, in regards to...
Funny! I clicked on this thread just for that reason....to read if anyone ever replied about a heat gun. Forget all the prying, buying crap on ebay, buying charcoal for a grill and building a...
WE'RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER HAMMER!!! :p
Although I'd probably go with the 4 1/2 grinder myself.
