be careful...because all scrap yards report your earnings over a certain dollar level usually 100 dollars...most scrap yards pay cash under 100 dollars and check anything over that..thats for tax...

98% of scrapyards give out free magnets if you ask them for one..my local yard gives us all small gift packs for xmas and they always include a magnet..and they always have 1000s on hand just ask...

in iowa to be safe i always get a title and then go and get a scrappers certificate from the dmv...if they cant produce a title i dont mess with them...and i know 2-3 yards here wont take scrap cars...

my local scrap yard provides 55 gallon barrels free of charge for metals..i usually snag 10 fill them..take them in and grab 10 more..
