I Want one of these!
Wow! The yards here talk openly about burning copper for a better price. Hard to resist getting #2 process.
Hate to say it, but pay the $250 and go on. A lawyer will cost much more, and defending a D Felony will cost thousands. Simply write it off as a cost of doing business and go on. And your friends...

Was driving down to Indy when we passed a Duke Energy truck. And on the back was a big roll of beautiful bare copper, and of course my son started talking about how sweet that stuff would be to...
I was looking at this view if downtown Indianapolis and all I could think was "man look at all that cool scrap!"

Hope things get better hoss. Those **** seizures suck. My wife had one Sunday. She is in the hospital in very bad shape
Well, guess I hurt my left knee pretty good falling over that stupid scale. I have a half grapefruit sized lump over my left knee. The ER doc shot some pics and says no breaks, no fluids. Just a...
It comes down to respect. I try to show my respect for everyone by leaving things a bit better than before.

Wow! Fell over the scale at the scrap yard. Could I have made myself look any worse?
I agree dryve12, but have heard from 2 different people the guy in Hartford takes it as #1. I doubt it myself, but a phone call won't hurt.
Hi All,
Got what I see as a pretty big load for tomorrow. Hate selling at this moment, and would like to say it's because I see a lot of downside in the market. But when it really comes down to...
Yeah it does feel good! When I first cut into the stuff all I could think was '**** aluminium'! But now I'm stripping stuff that is worth $3 instead of 50 cents. Only thing is I should have caught...
Well now, it dawned on me today a bunch of very thin strand braided wire I was stripping is actually tinned copper. I finally checked really close cause the weight of the wire bothered me. Nothing...
No idea how much for the aluminium wire. But I found a bunch in the barn, and to have any value at all I figure it needs to be stripped. Good practice if nothing else.
A break away knife, heavy gloves, and practice, practice, practice!
How that's funny! :-D
And some of the good stuff

Watch movies and strip wire. Not a bad way to spend an evening. Aluminium on the left. Tinned copper on the right

I don't think so. As a matter of fact I am surprised metals didn't take more of a hit. The Dow dropped 500 points on fears the world economy is slowing, and if true the demand for scrap will fall. ...
Ya know I was beginning to wonder that. I bet that's what it is. #2 copper works. Thanks everyone.
