    Dont Make This Mistake

So my dad and I were gardening and the hedge trimmer stopped working. My dad tried lots of things but he couldn't figure out what went wrong, so I scrapped it. Moments after I cut the motor in half he noticed that the extension cord was cut...lesson: MAKE SURE STUFF IS ACTUALLY BROKEN BEFORE YOU CHOP IT INTO LITTLE PIECES.

So as the saying goes - if it ain't broke don't fix it ....... or scrap it.

Two 25 cent twist caps would have solved it.

My extension cord has 4 or 5 areas like this because my mother in law borrows it to trim her hedges and cut through it every few months. Now I have a nice new extension cord and I have a mother in law extension cord. When she comes over to borrow my cord I give her the cut up one and I keep my nice on hidden.

Hey, that's not a Black & Decker was it? I was just given one that needs a new switch from where the guy cut thru his cord and shorted/burned the switch up.

**** funny when you find that the only reason a appliance didn't work was a 50cent item....

Or even worse is when you take it apart to see what was wrong with it and come to find out that the plug in fell out of the wall socket.
