    Spent shell casings

    Hello guys,
Well since I live in Australia I have no idea of cost per lbs for center fire casings. As I want to bid or buy them between 500lbs up to a ton. Hence not get ripped off.
Any ideas on what are the right prices and where I can get them.

I dunno where you can get them, but I'd expect to be able to pay 'less than Brass' prices for used shell casings.

Scrapmetal dealers tend to not like them as they can be a liability with the odd live shell and or live primer. Even blanks.

I noticed a bin of empty shotgun shells at our yard, and sitting on the top was a obvious unused shotgun shell..
So I showed one of the workers, who nearly jumped out of his skin and took it immediately to his foreman.

I'm in Louisiana and all the indoor ranges sell spent casings that are left behind. But if you make a call to some outdoor ranges, most will prolly work with you just to keep from having to deal with them.

sounds good but a bit hard to make a call as I am in Australia. I do however have a Australian FFL and business lic. It is just hard finding a auction house or range that will deal with me.

    Spent shell casings

you need to come up with a reason why you are better or more convenient than your competitors.

are you more relieable? able to do pickups on short notice? provide bins? pay better/faster? a more likable person
Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.
