    Cool Free Tarps To Cover Scrap With!

    So far, i have collected over 30 tarps for my scrap and paid nothing for them! They are pretty durable, and covers my scrap better to look more organized! If you want to save yourself money or you need new tarps, i got a tip for you! At harbor freight, they have a no purchase necessary coupon for a free 5x7 tarp. Sale goes till the end of april! This post is strictly posted as a scrapping tip. I have no relation to the harbor freight organization, im just a scrapper posting an awesome tip!

    Those harbor freight tarps don't last long out in the sun. have taken apart a few trampolines 10' to 14' round and some oval the fabric that you jump on is tuff and makes a good tarp or shade fabric or privacy screen or curse it is not waterproof. Some of the best tarps that I have used to cover up some of my boats are advertising tarps available on e-bay they are about 14' by 48' and cut in half will cover two 10 by 20 carports and last for years. One side is advertisement the other is usually black or if you are lucky white. They last for years, of course they are not free Would cost about $60.- for the tarp and $60 for shipping unless you are close. The advertisement is usually alcohol related at least the three that I have bought. I believe they will last 5 to 10 years out in the weather, compared to 6 months for harbor freight poly tarps.     I'm with both of you on that one, you pay more for better quality and free is free. Even if its only 6 months its cost nothing to you. I like free!

    Just picked one up Walk in, get tarp, walk to counter, hand them coupon, walk out. Doesn't get better than that

    Thanks for the tip(s). Me dad gets their huge magazine and monthly ones so I know he should have all these over there. Gonna call him later and tell him to look for all these. I need to get some wheels for my side grinder anyways, might as well get all the free stuff too!!
