    Facebook Pages

I know alot of guys on here have facebook pages for their companies, but I recently came across another way to get the word out you're looking for items.

Check to see if their is a "online yardsale" page in your area. A person my g/f works with added her to the "Green Bay Online Yardsale" (closest to me) and she added me to it. Her cousin then added me to one called "Northeat Wisconsin Trading Post" and started also started one for her moms area called "Pulaski Classifieds" (about 25 mins away from me) that I got added to. I havn't posted any wanted ads yet, but posted a few things for sale on the GB page that sold in less than a day, when I had the items listed on craigslist for at least a week.

If their isn't a page for your area, start one. Add your friends, have them add their friends, ETC.

Plus, instead of reposting, having adds flagged, etc, all you have to do is "bump" them and they go to the top (say once a week or so depending on how popular the page is).

Our Freecycle group started one of these. I watch it - but haven't bought or sold anything on it yet. I have no need for kid's clothes, baby stuff, or more furniture - nor do I need to get rid of any atm.
