    Don't forget the Pawn Shops

Watching an episode of Pawn Stars the other night and a guy brought in a tube tv from 1987 and wanted to sell it to them. The pawn guy said he wouldn't take it since he has a whole warehouse full of them that he can't sell. That got me wondering what they would end up doing with all of that obsolete stuff. I looked up a few pawn shops in my area and stopped at a few of them the next day. I ended up getting computers, tvs, monitors, stereos, all kinds of stuff for a well below scrap price. They were just happy to get a couple bucks and make room for new inventory. Hopes this helps some people out.

Just started doing that recently. When ever I pick something up that has some value, but isn't practical to ebay, I can generally trade it for much more in e-scrap value to the local second hand shop.
