Newbie with question on CV Axles

I recently came into 200-225 complete rebuilt CV axles from a shop that closed down. There are enough of them that are NOT tagged to what they fit to make it worth trying to sell them as a actual part.

My question is that I have found some yards on the internet that are specific that they accept CV axles and I have not had a chance to call the local yards yet but I am not sure what most CV Axles are made of. And what catagory would these fall into?

They weight 10-15lbs each and not quite sure of what I am or can even do with them.

    Thanks for any help.

You're in a big enough town, that you should be able to ask around at local shops to see what the chances might be for more than scrap. (please drop by Jack's BBQ on Lower Broad and have a (large) Texas beef brisket sandwich for me : )

On the other CV joint, if you aint got the time, why should we? just my 2 cv joints worth

All steel. Put them on the trailer and sell them as shortsteel as long as they dont have boots.

Are they rebuilt to put on a vehicle or were they take-off's? If they were rebuilt I'll bet you could find a garage to buy them bulk for more than scrap value.
