Should go as dirty aluminum. Why can't you get the pump off?

Today I had a lawn mower engine in with my dirty alum, The guy pulled it out and paid me transmissions price for it. This is a first for me. .15 vs .25 so not that big a deal. LOL

Mongo beat the aluminum off of it! That cast will crack when smacked then just toss the rest in the shred.

Nice to hear you got the copper out straight off. Seen a guy toss a condenser fan motor aluminum blade and all in the steel pile at One Steel on Saturday.
A tear pert near came to my eye. I waited for him and told him the gig. The guy was clueless and had three more units to scrap. Offered to buy the motors but he seemed just as clueless after talking to him as before, maybe he did not have his coffee yet.

all the screws are literaly rusted to the metal almost like a weld lol and imma get the grinder out tomrow but they are in small places making it hard to get to. i will do my best though. n joe i see people just throw whole washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves in the shred and i freak out every time lol, but i asked the australian dude over in ferrous today and he said itll prob be elec motor price if i cant get it apart. so i will update tomrow if i get it apart. good news is 60lbs in insulated wire off the motors and then 800lbs shred and have some more stuff to turn in tomrow.
