I'm good. Doesn't bother me really of what others thing. I love criticism (good and bad), and if I know it not to be criticism, I just shrug it off.

Thanks, I appreciate your condolences. The 2nd passing in the family, was my wife's great grandmother on her dad's side. It hit her dad pretty hard, so I helped them at their auto body shop for a few weeks to keep things running. I, for one am GLAD that it is over! I will do anything for family, but me and automotives don't mix! lol

I think you deserve a trophy for stepping up and helping in the auto shop. Reach in that box and grab one you like.

I truly never understood the meanings behind trophies in all honesty. Those and medals. To me, it is just a means to inflate someone's ego.

I had a buddy one time who refered to peoples' babies as "F*CK TrOPHIES" ...!!!!

Terrible expression IMO...Yeah, if the magnet don't stick, they're probably alum. these days.
Sometimes IF I can get away with it, I toss them in the brass.

That's why it's important to carry a metal file in "basic tool bag" , IF I file on them and they're shiny alum. color I know,
IF they're still yellow, it's brass, IF plastic comes off ...I start cursing and toss them back...the marble can be mixed with steel too...anyway George, srry to hear about your family loss.
Had a few myself this past year, I accept it as part of life, besides my Faith prevents my Grief, from EVER turning to Dispair.
Then I recently got home from wife's dentist, (where I'd been depositing ALL my cash lately to save her tooth), mail-lady whipped a u-turn with certified mail...(almost brought tears to my eyes when I read GP's names, and a little amt. inheritance)...

God Bless , and be with you ,in this ,I pray.
(Haven't read this whole thread, but I will get back and see which A-holes said something offensive ...)

All of the trophies that I've gotten have been plastic / marble. Now, I do have a number of track, ice skate, etc. medals. Those all have mostly not stuck to a magnet and have been tossed in a pile for later identification. Still learning which metal is which (other then the very stupid obvious like copper).

Most people unfortunately have babies for the once a year child tax credit that they get. Those are the people who don't deserve them.

I am sure these trophies are old, but were kept in very good condition.

I am sure ones now a days are definitely plastic and marble, but hard to say until I come across more of them.

You know you're encouraging dishonest behavior here, right?

I must've missed this somehow. Again with the "bullie" thing. What's with the sensitive types on here lately?

Padner, if I recall correctly ( and trust me, I do) you have made the MOST offensive statement ever made on this forum.(Remember when you were making unsavory remarks about the members kids? A whole lot of us still do.) So, be sure to put yourself at the very top of your A-hole list.
