How Much Can I Get For This 98 Firebird Catalytic Converter?

It is heavy although i didn't weigh it, when i shake it i didn't really hear anything rattling inside.

if ya come across an old pancake gm called beaded and you hear it rattle just send it to me. . and the one you have I will give you $60 for it right now.

short lesson. some catilec converters are supposed to rattle and some arnt. big flat gms are called beaded and should rattle, if they dont they are empty. bread loaf shape have a ceramic comb in each end that is where the PMs are if it rattles chanches are they are no good. way to tell cut off the tail pipe and header pipe short. use a flash light look in each end if you see a comb about 4 to 6 inches in on both ends and it is in tact your good, if the comb is missing or partially gone it will be down graded drastically. watch out for aftermarket converters, and thats a whole nother chapter.
