    Plastic mixed in

I have about 90 cd rom drives i am going to mix in with my normal steel scrap. I take the motors and boards out of each. Is the yard going to care that their's still plastic in these drives?

It's a lot of extra work getting out that plastic.

It should not matter if you leave the plastic in them. There is plastic in almost everything. Think of all the plastic in refrigerators.

don't sweat the plastic...the yards make money off that, too....otherwise they'd be sqaulking...

My yard has a big unmonitored scale for the big stuff, and small scales that workers stand by for smaller stuff. I only take trunkloads of steel, so everything is mixed in. The really dont car as I have seen strollers (all plastic except for a metal axle) thrown in the steel pile.
